The Third Kazekage (三代目風影, Sandaime Kazekage?) is considered to be the strongest Kazekage in the history of Sunagakure. He had a special genetic trait that allowed him to convert his chakra into magnetic forces. By modeling this ability after the abilities of a former host of Shukaku, the Third could create Iron Sand (砂鉄, Satetsu?). His Iron Sand, iron powder held together and manipulated through his magnetic control, allowed him to perform a number of unique techniques for both offensive and defensive purposes. He was kidnapped and killed by Sasori, who converted his body into a puppet so that he could use the Third's Iron Sand abilities for himself.
