Baki (バキ) acts the sensei of the Sand Siblings during the Chunin Exams, and helps coordinate with Otogakure on Sunagakure's behalf for the invasion of Konoha. In Part II he seems to begin serving on Sunagakure's advisory council, and has a more favorable view of Gaara than the other council members. In the only battle he is seen in, Baki is shown using what he claims to be an unblockable technique called the Blade of Wind (風の刃, Kaze no Yaiba?, English TV "Wind Sword"), with which he kills Hayate Gekko.
